After weeks of cleaning, painting, fitting-out and sorting out stock Sankofa is now ready to celebrate. We've opened the doors at 231 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy and now want to say 'thanks' and share Melbourne's newest fair trade store with all those who made it happen. So ..... You are invited to the Sankofa launch - drop in for a champers, schmooz with the 'who's who' of 'Team Sankofa' and generally walk around the shop oohing and arring (at least that's what I think a launch involves)! Here's the details (and feel free to bring a friend along too - the more the merrier): Thursday 4th September 2008 6.30pm til 9pm Sankofa Ph: 9416 4584 RSVP It would be appreciated if you could RSVP by Friday 29th August 2008 for catering purposes.
